Handyman Formula™ is an excellent GO TO product for Marble, Vinyl, or Granite kitchen counter removal. Simply score the edge of the adhesive with a razor knife around the piece to be removed-spray Handyman Formula™ around the edge and let stand for 3 -4 minutes. Then start with several putty knives or wedges tapped into the adhesive and spray Handyman Formula a second time-it will wick in under the adhesive-then keep moving around edge with putty knives and a wedge if needed till fully un-bonded.
Plumbers also use Handyman Formula™ when removing toilets and sinks and bathtubs that are adhesive bonded to floors and walls.

Yes. Handyman Formula will release the mirror from the wall held on with Liquid Nails® or other fast grab adhesives. Wash the areas on the mirror with soap and water to neutralize and stop the action.
Yes. Handyman Formula will Break the Bond of Silicone Rubber. Just score the edge with a razor knife and spray the edge with Handyman Formula. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes, then use a plastic razor blade or plastic scraper to begin removing. Depending on how thick the caulk is, you might need a second spray. Always read the can’s directions. Soap and water will neutralize and stop the action, and Isopropyl Alcohol will prepare it for new installation.
Yes, it comes off very easily. Get a few paper towels and a plastic razor blade. The 1st spray will take the color off the sticker — wipe that off. The 2nd spray on the tape will release the adhesive in 2-3 minutes. Start at the top of the sticker and use the scraper to take it off your window. One more light spray will get any leftover adhesive, then clean your window with soap and water or window cleaner.
Yes. It takes several sprays, and it helps if you can saturate a paper towel or a small piece of terry cloth towel and keep it on for a few minutes. It seems like everyone has different trees — some tree saps come off easily and some are tougher! A plastic razor blade helps too.
Yes. Handyman Formula can Break the Bonds of many single part construction adhesives used in building homes and RVs, like Sika® Adhesives and Liquid Nails®. Here’s what you do: score with a razor knife all the way around the sink, then spray Handyman Formula all the way around using the Universal straw. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes, then insert a putty knife along the edge to start, put another next to the first one and a third next to #2. Spray again and continue to leapfrog putty knives around the sink. The sink will start to release, then push from underneath and it’s out. Finish with soap and water to neutralize, and Isopropyl alcohol will prepare it for reinstallation.
Yes and no. While the epoxy is still wet and not cured, Handyman Formula can clean it up. But once the 2-part epoxy is cured, Handyman Formula cannot take it apart.
Yes. Foam tape, VHB (Very High Bond) tape and FLEX® Tape will come off with Handyman Formula. Spray Handyman Formula directly on the foam tape and let it sit for 3-4 minutes, then spray a second coat and let it sit 2 additional minutes — let Handyman Formula do the work. For tools we like to use plastic razor blades or plastic putty knives so you don’t scratch the tile, and paper towels to wipe up the plastic razor blades and adhesive. Finally, finish with soap and water to neutralize and stop the action. Isopropyl alcohol will also neutralize Handyman Formula.
Yes. We have removed graffiti from brick, plastic trash cans at highway rest areas, walkways to beach accesses, cement, cars and panel trucks, plastic wood, metal signs, glass and train cars. Always test on an inconspicuous area to make sure the material is safe for Handyman Formula, and have soap and water on hand to neutralize the action.
Yes. Handyman Formula easily removes duct tape adhesive. Spray Handyman Formula directly on the old adhesive — Handyman Formula is safe on clear coat and glass, but it doesn’t hurt to test on an inconspicuous area first. Let it sit 3-4 minutes, then use a plastic razor blade or plastic putty knife and several paper towels to collect the old adhesive. Wash with soap and water, and use a window cleaner on the glass.

First, this product should not be used around heat or flame. Remember that this aerosol can is under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate the can even if you believe that it is empty. Do not store the product at temperatures above 120°F. Be sure to protect all surrounding areas and objects prior to spraying. Always use this product in a well ventilated area. If it is not possible to use the product in a well ventilated area, we recommend that you use NIOSH/MSHA approved Chemical/Mechanical type filter system to remove a combination or particles, gas and vapor. Use air line if necessary. If the product comes into contact with skin you should wash the affected area with soap and water. Use rubber gloves to avoid skin contact. We recommend the use of safety glasses or goggles to protect eyes from contact with this product. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
